Hi, Clair. I’d like to come in and talk with you. Would that be all right?

This is the Batman we need to see more often. The one who remembers what it was like to be a scared child, one who knows how to handle situations delicately.

One of the reason why I love batman so much. He is portrayed as a very careful and guarded man. But he is probably the most human out of anyone. It’s why he is the knight that gotham deserves.

Batman, when he’s written correctly, is an extremely compassionate person.

I always feel the need to reblog this because it’s definitely something I feel was lost in the Nolan films.

It wasn’t lost with the nolan films, it was lost with the live action batman movie by tim burton. The one with Jack Nicholeson joker. As much as I love that batman movie, I will admit that it’s where batman was stoic. And it never came back on live action adaptation. not in the other burton film. Not in the schumacher film and not in the nolan films.

it would be so cool if my parent was a giant cell phone

Black Mirror

Story time:  Two days ago a woman ran into my local Starbucks, in tears, holding up a smartphone and saying, “Can someone please help me? My father is dying!”  One of the baristas was able to help her get a video chat working in time for her to say goodbye to her father while she could see his face, and he could see hers.  This technology, that people are constantly shitting on, that people keep saying is disconnecting us, made that possible.  I don’t know who she was, but I felt connected to her then.  I think we all did, everyone who was there.  I’m sad for her loss, and I’m also glad that the technology exists that let her see her dad one more time, even though she couldn’t physically go to him.

So if people could stop complaining about communication technology, which actually, surprise, facilitates communication, that would be great.

You know, I don’ think hte phones are why the people in the pictures marriage is failing. Or why they’re shitty parents.

They would neglect their children and partner with or without the phone.

No, you blow where the cartridge will be going and then put the game in. next you wiggle it around a bit and hold turn it on and off twice before turning it on.
