Silver Tongue
What she says: I'm fine.
What she means: I appreciate it, but look what we're dealing with man. You gotta draw the line somewhere. You gotta draw a FUCKING LINE in the sand dude. You gotta make a statement. You gotta look inside yourself and say "What am I willing to put up with today? NOT FUCKING THIS!"
Me?

#BEST SCENE

EVER

the fall of azula is one of the best written story arcs in cartoon history and i will stand by this comment forever

you know another thing i really love about this scene? despite knowing their martial art and acrobatic prowess, azula still underestimated and looked down on mai and ty lee. the audience knows mai has the precision to cut and kill—and she was ready to do it. but ty lee chose to disarm and temporarily paralyze azula with the one tool she always has at her disposal (firebending) with two unsuspectingly swift hits. those skillsets are terrifying. people kept saying they (nonbenders) were mediocre compared to benders but atla made sure non-benders could be just as much of a threat as any bender.

The non-benders of this show were like the best part of it.

Nonbenders were some of the most impressive people in the series. Mai with her blades and accuracy. Ty Lee with her ability to take away bending, somehting only the avatar and a blood bender have also been seen to do. And hell, she can take down anyone. Even Sokka was impressive before he took up sword fighting because despite how it was sometimes played for laughs, he was still skilled with a boomerang. And the sword fighting made him more awesome. Asami took a weapon from the peopel they were fighting and ended up using it throughout the entire series. She also built fucking mechs. Nonbenders are just as dangerous and impressive as benders.

being rich would be so much fun, like aside from the obvious stuff, can you imagine going to a restaurant and being able to give your waiter/waitress a $500 tip for like a $40 meal? you could make people’s months without even trying

If only actual rich people thought this way instead of trying to pass shitty ass laws to fuck it up for everyone else

They used to think this way. That’s why everything was cool. Idk what happened.

What happened was the value of a dollar went down and instead of teens working as a waiter to pay for school, it’s not young adults working just to live and for whatever reason rich people see that as lazy.

how can ppl just put the pokemon they’ve been training since the beginning of the game in their box and start using legendaries how could you do that to your pokemon they trusted you

The same way people will force their pokemon to have sex until they have a child with perfect natures and IV and EVs and stupid shit.

They don’t care about pokemon. They just care about winning. they’re like that kid who abandoned his charmander and left him to die.

imagine Steven and Connie standing in line for a roller coaster but then the guy is like “sorry kids, you have to be at least this tall to ride”

and they just look at each other

BUt then it’s “sorry, you need a partner to ride”
