Why does everyone think the SU fandom sucks? I'm new here

Because I consider myself apart of the Steven Universe fandom I can’t really answer this without sounding bias but If you ask me only a very small minority of the fandom suck but unfortunately they tend to get the most attention when it comes to how people see the Steven Universe fandom. I try to look at the positive things in the fandom like the incredibly talented artists that make fantastic artwork, or the people of all different shapes and sizes who get to cosplay characters they love and feel comfortable and confident or the people who come up with great theories and hilarious posts. I feel like all these people really show what SU represents, it’s just a shame not everyone thinks so.
tl;dr focus on the positive, nothing’s perfect!
Replace “Steven Universe” with “My Little Pony” and maybe people will realize how bronies have been saying this exact same thing for years.
