Okay, this is what I loved about this movie.
Joy was working so hard to keep Sadness out of the way so Riley could be happy.. But this movie clearly shows the negative effects on your psyche if you keep your sadness bottled up. Yes, Joy is a wonderful sensation and we’d love to feel it all the time.. but Sadness is also a necessity. Bottling up feelings CAN do damage.. (I would know, as I’m sure a lot of us would..)
We do deserve to be happy, but we need to experience sadness, too. It only makes the joyous occasions even brighter and more special. If you ARE sad, let it out, don’t bottle it up. Once you’re done with that.. Treat yourself to something like a cookie or donut, enjoy a hot bath, watch a funny video of kittens trying to fit into a shoe .. Or, if the sadness is too much … Talk to a (SUPPORTIVE) family member, a friend, or look into possibly seeing a therapist. There are people that love you and want to stay by your side, in joy and in sadness.

But isn’t that what this post is trying to say that like she used to have pretty shitty opinions about girls and feminism and now it kind of seems like she’s unlearning it and growing up? Like I remember when I said stupid things about girls when I was younger but nobody’s holding it against me cuz now I’ve learned more about feminism and how wrong I was. Idk I mean it was 5 years ago, I know I changed a lot in five years

Favorite thing
This moment here (and countless others like it) is the reason Davies will always be superior to Moffat. Always.
It’s an excellent touch that really comes as a a surprise. It wasn’t forced, and came off as a natural progression of a character. A solid connection between two characters that only added, rather than took away. It gave new meaning to Boe’s final words, and created a closing act in Jack’s life.
Also, it explained why the face of Bo was so eager to help the doctor.
Also, a little funny thing I like to think about is that the face of boe is really famous and I like to imagine it’s because he seduced the universe
