people in the 2000s capable of taking photographs, ruin Earth
also arms briefly went out of style in the 80s
Filming the police and other injustices and exposing them through social media is this generation’s defining symbol for social change, agoodcartoon
my first thought too. you can’t even say they’re supposed to be taking selfies, since they’re not holding the camera the right way for that. you could also argue that none of the previous symbols there had half as much concrete effect on the country
also arms briefly went out of style in the 80s
From what I can tell, a lot of the people criticising this generation are from the 80s
funny how they left out what their symbol for social change was. But I guess there isn’t much need for major change when you don’t have wars, the economy is good and people can easily find jobs and pay for higher education.
It's not that their results are faked it's that they're useless. It's stuff that could be anything but ghosts. Tricks of the lighting. Were are these researchers? Why haven't any of their stuff been peer reviewed? Are they trying to remain mysterious? Why? If science belongs to everyone it's less likely to be abused.
That’s why I made sure to specify that REAL ghost hunters are scientifically investigating the supernatural. Real ones. Not the show.
... You know, I used to be a witch so it's not like I'm completely ignorant to this stuff. However I never really thought it was "real" but if the actual real world was effected by some sort of "supernatural" 'word doesn't make sense because everything is part of the natural world including all this stuff if it's real' then let's investigate it. Maybe you don't want to and I respect that but for fucks sake this sounds like it would be important if it's real. Jesus, the scientific method exists.
People do investigate the supernatural using scientific methods. They’re called ghost hunters. I mean real ones, not the show because the show most likely fakes results to get more views.
Why are these people attacking the father of modern medicine
i fucking laughed way harder through this post than i’m proud of
everyone died of disease the end
I bet anti vacciners hate Hippocrates too because medicine = bad to them
Ok so people always talk about bad experiences with the supernatural and that's always weird. Usually anecdotal evidence is bullshit but if you REALLY saw something of straight out of fantasy I have two theories. 1 it's something that we just don't understand and projecting our ideas of supernatural is hubristic until we do scientific research and so far research hasn't brought us shit. It could be aliens:U! 2 you were seeing things. There's no shame, humans aren't perfect. We can be disturbed.
*follow up* and I don’t want to be a closed minded dick ok. It’s just we have literally nothing to go off of with anything supernatural. I’m an imperacist meaning I try to derive fact from logic, reason, experimentation ect. People think this is hubristic and closed minded when it’s the opposite. I’m willing to believe in anything that follows what we can derive and deduce and everything else is either “I don’t know” or “maybe not”. And that can change any time. It’s open minded and open ended.
I had a bad experience back in the early 2000s involving a ghost named john who would throw my heaviest things at my sibilings, a oujia board that didn’t go away until my father tied it in a bag and threw it in a river and nobody playing mario 64 in the middle of the night.
I have had experience with the supernatural before. It’s not fun. Hell, there was even one time where I found a leg, a solid leg, wearing my brothers soccer shoes and socks but when I screamed and went to turn on the lights, it was just the show and sock being limp like nobody was wearing it.
Also in that house there were times where I would just feel really scared for no reason.
Anywho, there was definitely some scary shit happening in that place.
I don’t think this counts as dancing. Or even skipping really. It’s more of an exagerated waddle
So. Let me tell you about the day I took this video. It was the 1 year anniversary of my open heart surgery. It’s about a year old, and I’d say it’s pretty safe to say I’ve improved since then. In case you don’t agree, let’s take a look at some more at my exaggerated waddling.
Waddle.
Waddle waddle.
*rolls across the floor*
Clearly I am immobilized by my own mass.
Oh wait… that’s not it, is it? It sort of seems like the opposite. Almost as though the ability to dance is based on strength, effort and passion and not on being skinny. Strange concept I know, let’s see if you can wrap your tiny little mind around it.
not to mention she wasnt waddling at all.. That was clearly a jete, chasse, and assemble.. not waddling. ballet…
Yo. Professional ballerina speaking here.
Clearly she is performing a saute arabesque, chasse, step-step, assemble devant with arms in fifth.
And as a teacher too, I can’t find much technically wrong with it at all.
Which means not only is she a gifted dancer, she has a wonderful technical foundation that she is executing properly and with lovely mannerism.
Being a ballerina isn’t about how much you weigh. Give me this girl ANY day for a student or dancer to work with. Clearly she has the knowledge and the passion, which means she will be a joy to work with.
Also, for those of you criticizing, you clearly have NO idea how difficult it is to execute a develope ecarte derriere the way she is at the barre in one of her later photos. This takes YEARS of dedicated training, as well as extensive natural facility, such as turnout, which she clearly demonstrates here.
So maybe before you peons thinking you’re masters of ballet judge dancers based on weight, you should actually learn about ballet and technique. Because if you had, you’d recognize that this girl clearly has technique—unlike your basic asses.
I love how beautiful and elegant she is. Not gonna lie, if anyone plays live action rose quartz, it should be her.
You know I was fascinated by you discussion with betty-the-beehive-mod. They were obviously a skeptic who didn't believe in the existence of spirits let alone malevolent demons yet you do. You show concern with what could happen with a Ouija board even though there's no imperial evidence of any of this. I don't want to attack you personally. Because I thought you were a skeptic, I'm confused. What are your beliefs regarding the supernatural. Just remember you're making claims on reality.
I believe there is something supernatual in existence. And while charlie charlie may be fake, I still don’t wanna take chances with ouija boards. I’ve had very bad experiences with them before.
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
