I think what bothers me most about Brad is that he’s clearly not a natural redhead:
finding out the dceu was getting split up with movies that no longer have a continued and/or interconnected arc was a slap in the face at first as a fan, but then i realized it’s true to the comic book reading experience and the general chaos is how the median comic reader feels, so it’s all good
listen i appreciate what marvel did with their ninety-seven and a half movies being one big continuation despite different characterization fuck ups throughout the films, and i’d have loved that for the dc cinematic universe too as well as for the wb execs to not have been stupid ass bitches that don’t treat the actors with any basic modicum of respect, but i could have not possibly vibed more with the fact no dc movie makes sense anymore unless you’ve read the comics and if you HAVE read the comics, it makes even less sense. this is the OG experience brought to the general audience and it’s time non comic book readers suffered too. time for people to know the sprawling world of continuous retcons before an arc has even finished. the joy IS found in not understanding jack shit. lets go
