Like, have you seen her in catch that kid? Or panic room? Or zathura? She’s actually a really great acterss who was unfortunately put in a movie with a bad script.
Same thing with robert pattinson. Great actor stuck in a five part series that was poorly written that people like to focus on.

because if you feel the need to “test” someone then that means you’re trying to make them prove things to you without their knowledge. you are trying to control them. you are manipulating them. there are a variety of reasons people may not contact you first, including but not limited to
they need alone time
they prefer to be approached
they’re too shy
they feel smothered
they’re tired
they’re busy
they’re directing their attention to other people (though not your expense because people can have multiple friends!!)
it doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t miss you
or don’t like you
you can’t read peoples’ minds
don’t put words in their mouths
it makes you look like an asshole
how about when you feel like your needs aren’t being met in a relationship, you fucking talk about it instead of being a jerk and doing this
It’s terribly unfair to set invisible standards in relationships and then expect your friends to live up to them/be inexplicably disappointed in them when they don’t.
Seriously I used to do this all the time to everyone and all I can say is GROW OUT OF IT. Grow out of it as quickly as possible.

For those who may genuinely not know—since the media likes to make sure you don’t—John is the chosen name of the Jolie-Pitt child the media refers to as Shiloh. Angelina first noticed signs of transness in John when he was about three and angrily refused to wear pink or dresses, insisting they were “for girls” in language that separated himself from “girls” as a group. Angelina and Brad chose to do the appropriate thing and ask John what kind of clothes he would like to wear and what he would like to be called. He chose his own name, and chooses his own clothes and haircut.
As a result of this Brad and Angelina have faced severe media backlash, including accusations that they are not fit parents and media support of Brad’s mother, who forcibly dresses John in girls’ clothes when he visits her. The Jolie-Pitts are doing everything they possibly can to affirm to their son that his identity is valid (including Angelina recently restricting Grandma’s access to him on the basis that her son’s mental health is more important than his grandmother’s self-righteousness), and the media is doing everything it possibly can to say they’re wrong.
Support the Jolie-Pitt children and parents, and remember that his name is John, and he is a boy.
the media likes to reinforce the thought that anything outside what is the “normal” family (a mother a father and a child all conformign to gender roles) is a destructive. It’s kind of like Hera, the goddess of family and marriage. Yeah she claims to love families but she only love families that conform to her status quo. That’s why she chunked her son Hephaestus off the mountain when he came out physically deformed.
Basically, the media will do anything it can to ruin a family that doesn’t conform to the status quo.
