Guys…that awesome “Cosplay” of number 18 is, in fact, a true Animatronic.
Build up for a scientific exhibition in a Japanese Mall, the Animatronic has sensors that capture movements, so it can follow you with her eyes.

CAUSE THAT’S NOT CREEPY AT ALL

Oh yeah let’s just build the android that killed all earth. That’s a good idea.

I’m really tired of seeing people broken up into labels of absolutes.

People are not just “good” or “bad”.

People are not a list of labels.

People are complex, situations are complex.

I know, that makes it a lot harder when you want to just write off everything someone’s ever done as bad – but that’s not how people actually are, and it would do everyone good to stop pretending they are.

I am tired of hearing about the fear people have in putting themselves out there. And it is a scary thing! Putting yourself out there means subjecting yourself to people who want a really good reason to tear you down, who will jump at the first chance to feel “good” by labeling someone else as “bad”.

I reject this. I reject the idea that there should be fear in speaking up and talking about experiences and trying to reach an understanding of a situation.

I’m unhappy to see people spitefully urging others to cut off ties with their friends under the guise of “well, that person’s just inherently bad, so if you talk to them you’re bad too.” That is fucked up. You definitely have the right to let the friend know you don’t want to hear about whoever troubles you, but you do not at all have the right to decide who their friends should be. This includes guilt trips.

Anyway, just try to be more aware of others. Everyone else is a person like you. They might not have the same experiences as you. They might not understand how their words are harmful, or how what they’re doing is wrong. They certainly won’t if you never tell them.

Most people are trying to be good, but they’re going to mess it up sometimes. Try to keep that in mind. Even when people do really fucked up shit, sometimes they are trying to do good. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions” and all that.

Nothing gets solved, no growth happens when you put people into a box from which you’ll never let them escape.

Yes, you absolutely must be careful about people who have tendencies and patterns that are harmful to you. Sometimes people try to overcome those patterns and they fail, and you have to distance yourself from them: that is the sad reality of life. Sometimes though, they can overcome it. But they certainly won’t if the first thing you do is write them off after a fuck up.

Be sincere. Use your best judgment.

why does everyone always associate satan with heavy metal

for all we know satan could like smooth jazz

I imagine it would be catchy, pun filled rhymes in a theatrical style.

mcu meme  - 4/10 scenes.

It’s the unspoken truth of humanity that you crave subjugation.

I see this scene reblogged a lot off the one Hiddleston blog I follow, but it almost always ends with Loki’s “There are no men like me” line, which is completely missing the fucking point of the scene. And I get that it’s about the Hiddleslove, which is great, but it’s completely missing the fucking point of the scene. And it is a very important point.

This is one of my favourite moments in the whole MCU because of its incredible, incredible power and strength. This is not Captain America with his super soldier serum juice standing up to a god. This isn’t even a young man who might think he’s somehow got a chance against the prick with the horns. This is an old, old man who knows, who knows, that he’s probably going to die because of what he’s doing, but he is not going to kneel to another man like Hitler.

Maybe he did, seventy years ago. Maybe that’s why he would rather die now than remain on his knees. Maybe he *didn’t*. Maybe he fought against his own countrymen, because he wouldn’t kneel to a man like this. Maybe he’s always been one to stand up. Maybe he lost everything once because of it. Everything except his integrity, and maybe he’s ready to die instead of risking losing that now, at the end of his life. Maybe his integrity cost him so fucking much seventy years ago that he hopes he’s going to die for it now because he almost wishes he’d have died for it then, but if he’s going to die for it, he’s goddamn well going to die with it.

Maybe he’s a Holocaust survivor. Maybe he’s Jewish. Maybe he’s gay. Maybe he’s Romani. We don’t know.

We don’t know anything about this man, except he’s the bravest goddamn person in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

And that’s why it bothers me every time I see this scene go by with his response cut from it. Because it’s missing. the. point.

Doctor Blog Question?

So as you all know I have two other doctors other than Wind-Up.

Notepad Whooves, my lovable bat with an affinity for fluffy ears.

And Dapper Whooves, my great big grump who’s like a jaded retail worker too proud to quit.

Both have the potential to be really great blogs, but I can’t start two new blogs right now with everything going on. Their updates will be a mix of text and pictures, though I’m still unsure of exactly how I wanna go about it.

My big question is: who? Which one will YOU GUYS want to see have their own blog more? Dapper or Notepad? And no, them having their own blog won’t affect their appearance on this blog.

So? Which do you guys want?

Morning reblog. Gonna wait a few days before making my decision to make sure everyone’s properly seen this.

So far more of you have asked for: Notepad.

They are both tied now. Also,
a-random-mod
suggested I put them both in the same blog. I’m iffy on that but I’d still love suggestions!

Might be a bit too late to add my vote in, but I’d go for Dapper ^^

It’s not too late. I probably won’t make a decision until tomorrow.

So Dapper is winning now.

i vote notead then
