So, I’m trans. N1, Octavia dies to mafia and the DN sounds like they were targeting Vinyl scratch. Octavia was a transporter. now, due to the nature of the two characters, I had assumed octavia swapped herself with vinyl scratch. Then, D2, I swap vinyl with the vet (who was on alert) and a doc saved me. The next day, the doc is on stand and I confirm she healed me. The werewolf had voted guilty so we put him on stand and lynched him. I save the doc as the doc saves me at night. one night, I accidentally kill the doc by swapping her with the mafias target. I can at least note that the person is inno. I narrow it down to three people, two after the mayor reveals. We lynch one, who is consig. In their will, they say the other suspect was the witch. So now I have no leads so I check the chat. I realize that the only person who wasn’t confirmed was vinyl, because I assumed that she was swapped with tavi without actually confirming it.

So we lynched her and she was mafioso. The sheriff interrogated her the same night I swapped her with the doc so that’s why she came up as ns.
I think there are some really important discussions to have about why disclosing aspects of personal identity can be challenging but important for all kinds of people, why the concept of “coming out” has appealed at times to a wide variety of groups (including people who are poly or kinky, sex workers, people with HIV, atheists, and people with mental illness), and why other groups using that language can be harmful to people in the LGBT and queer communities. But it’s going to take me some time to really be able to address all that.
In the meantime, I also think it’s worthwhile to focus specifically on the coming out experiences of people who are LGBTQIA. Of course, these experiences can vary a lot too. There are some differences between coming out about sexual orientation and coming out about gender identity, for example. And even two people who identify the same way may face pretty different challenges in their individual lives. I do believe, however, that there is a certain commonality shared specifically by these groups.
