I have a couple of them and I thought they were cute when I noticed when I had them. but out of the Trubbish, Phione, Empoleon one, I only had empoleon and I had no idea why that trubbish was on it’s back. I feel graced with this knowledge of the tale of Trubbish
The crows she feeds obviously have their own little lives. They go about their business, and they spot *pretty thing* or /unique thing/ in question. What gets me is that the *first* thing on their minds as recipient of this thing is the little girl that feeds them.
They spot a thing, and immediately must think, “that nice girl with delicious foodstuffs must have this to show my gratitude.”
Crows are fucking smart and will attack people who try to hurt you if you are nice to them.

A lot of royal chefs would have been killed if this upset their ruler enough. This also implies that he is a just monarch to the rest of his people, though we can’t know for sure.
Takes the news of Koridai being under attack by Ganon with a grim face, pausing thoughtfully to consider the best strategies to protect his allies before having the wisdom to ask how his nation can help. This implies a great military leader. Sun-Tzu once said ”Every battle is won or lost before it’s ever fought.”, and The King of Hyrule’s careful moment of planning proves he knows this.
Is seen with a VERY full goblet in multiple scenes. The man is obviously quite free with his wine, and maybe even freer with his mirth and fortune.

Other things about Harkinian that we shouldn’t forget:
-He treats Link as a son, calling him “my boy” and including him in royal conversations. Harkinian doesn’t have to be so kindly to a peasent, but he respects Link’s courage.
-Has a sense of humor, even though Ganon had him and Link imprisioned, The King was able to laugh it off and celebrate with his daughter just moments after her victory.
