Even Valka waits for Astrid’s signal; it’s her husband’s funeral, but deep down the greatest loss is on Hiccup’s shoulders. Losing the one parent that’s been there all his life, under those circumstances and in such a critical time of his life… It’s Astrid who is closer to his heart. It is only fitting she takes the lead, choosing the moment in respect to him.

I have never seen so many people, myself included, being hit with terrible shit, mental breakdowns, depression, and everything else under the sun all within a short span of time
A lot of people are going through stuff this month and it sucks for everyone.
