For example: when I update my ask blog a certain amount of times, I tend to get noticed quite a bit from random people who (outside of sending asks for the blog) want to just talk. A good portion of this comes from including other people’s OC’s in my posts, so of course something like this was to be expected. But whenever I stop updating for any period of time (be it because of schoolwork, art block, important IRL issues, etc.), a noticeable amount of those people simply stop communicating like I had simply vanished.
There are those very few, though, who I cherish the most because no matter how long the hiatus, they continue communicating with me. They’re the ones that taught me that follower count doesn’t matter as much as those you retain as friends or faithful followers. I couldn’t be more thankful to those few who make sticking around this fandom (and Tumblr in general) just a little more worth it!

today papa john’s called my starbucks and they were like “are u guys interested in a trade” and five frappuccinos later they gave us two large pizzas and a large order of cheesy bread
ok but this seems adorable to me
like kids at lunch
this is what my coffee shop does with the Subway next door. each large latte equals one 6 inch sandwich. we trade at noon and 7PM
This is how the world should run
This is how the world used to run
We do this with the frogurt place and the coffee place next to us. And we offer a “good neighbor” discount to all the people who work at a store in the same shopping complex.

“i’m so depressed,” posted the caucasian heterosexual cisgender teenage girl on her blog
“I’m so depressed” posted the person who is clinically depressed and who cannot help their depression despite their privilege because depression does not exclusively affect certain groups.
Attention to artists do not be afraid to say NO to fan’s that do not want to pay commission but still want a request. If you feel like they are using you because you are a popular artist chances are they are. Go with your gut on these situations in the long run it will help you.
I was gonna make a video about the negative reactions toward the Midwest FurFest fiasco, but then I realized those same people would insult me and send me death threats for associating with a fandom. #internetculture
Don’t let that stop you. Let people show their true colours.
I fight Rape Culture because
When I told my ex boyfriend about my rape
He ‘forgave’ me.
I fight Rape Culture because
I saw my baby sister age overnight
As she told me about her best friend getting molested.
I fight Rape Culture because
My closest friend was abused as a child
And he told nobody but me.
It took him 13 years to open up.
I fight Rape Culture because
My friends admit to letting their partners fuck them when they don’t want it
Then laugh it off as typical male behaviour.
I fight Rape Culture because
Saying that you’re raping someone is perfectly acceptable
If you’re playing a video game.
I fight Rape Culture because
Men tell me they are insulted when women walking in front of them start to walk faster.
As if their ego is more important than our safety.
I fight Rape Culture because
If I tell somebody their rape joke isn’t funny
I am told that I’m uptight.
I fight Rape Culture because
It won’t die out
Unless we kill it ourselves.
