PETA actually “rescues” pets from their owners before killing them. Vets wait until the animal is really old and already on the verge of death before getting consent from the owner.

I wish some people could just have fun with trends instead of getting political about them. Youtubers seem to either do the ice bucket challenge or they only donate and proceed to call the rest view whores. That’s just being incredibly self-righteous and it doesn’t make you the better person. Since when is it wrong to follow trends, especially if you have fans who WANT to see it? If Youtubers are following through with their donations and raising awareness, they should be allowed to dump a mountain of ice on their heads and upload it. It’s entertaining nonetheless.
Isn’t the whole point of the ALS ice bucket challenge to spread awareness of ALS? I mean, it shouldn’t matter the reason someone does it, the fact that it’s becoming a social phenomenon means that it’s working in that more people are becoming aware of ALS.
