the reason it’s rare is because without chlorophyll, the plant can’t get energy, and dies shortly after sprouting unless it has some other source of food. so if you see a plant as big as the one in the picture that doesn’t have any green in its leaves, it’s getting its nutrition from the roots of a neighboring plant of the same species, feeding on the sugars created by the other plant’s photosynthesis.

Being a kid was so fucking funny we’d just go around lying to each other’s faces constantly to impress each other one of my classmates told me he was the first person to visit the sun and when I asked him what it was like to prove he was lying he said he didn’t remember because they sent him there when he was just a baby and to this day the mental image of NASA launching an unsupervised baby into the sun still makes me crack up
It’s only been uhhhh… *checks calendar* …14 months since I posted chapter 1 of this series so I figured now was a decent time to post the next one.
In all seriousness, between work and my other series I couldn’t really keep this one going at the time. But I finally had some free time this weekend so I decided to finish this chapter up, especially since it was just collecting dust in my storage. Wether or not I’m capable of keeping up with the series now will probably depend greatly on scheduling and reworking the style to make drawing these faster. For now I will simply offer this as it is, and won’t make any grand promises.
