ya the ‘cis guy got banned for female presenting boobs’ thing is a bit funny but like. this is a horrific example of how much female-presenting bodies are sexualised. he got BANNED for ADJUSTING HIS BRA. it’ll probably get appealed since he’s not a girl, but just remember that twitch sees *bra adjusting* as a sexual act. i’m glad this is getting thrown into the public eye by a big streamer, bc holy hell is it such an issue

“miss piggy could do better than kermit” and you know what? she probably could! miss piggy is a catch. she’s a businesswoman, supermodel, actor, singer, she knows fucking karate. she’s extraordinarily by all counts. anyone would be happy to have her. but you know what. kermit makes her happy. kermit plays straight man to all of her hilarious endevours. kermit loves her. and she loves kermit. she doesn’t WANT better. she wants KERMIT.

we need to respect a beautiful womans choice to have the most wonderful cringefail husband in the world. ok.

I’m sorry, and I love Mrs. Piggy for everything she fantastically is but, Kermit is a fucking catch. He’s emotionally intelligent, kind, compassionate, and above all loyal. Kermit always asks when something is wrong with Mrs. Piggy and knows when to try and solve it and when to comfort her instead. The guy plays mf Banjo too AND hosted his own TV show for years! I’m not trying to say any of this to imply Mrs. Piggy is somehow lesser than Kermit in accomplishment, she has many talents he lacks and was featured on the cover of Life magazine, but for everytime Kermit gets launched against a wall or comically misunderstood in the Muppets there’s moments where he’s a good friend, a patient listener, and above all a loving frog partner to Mrs. Piggy. They are together because they both deserve each other and make that choice everyday. Also because they’re puppets.

at the end of the day, if two people enjoy being with each other then they deserve each other

Schools: don’t teach those skills anymore

Stuff: is made to not be repairable

Tools & Materials: are priced as a luxury

Working Hours: have expanded to take up a lot of people’s whole day and weekends

Wages: have stagnated so that everyone has to work full time

“News” media: Your dad is better at DIY than you, ya dick!

lets not forget:

Your parents: have never actually taught you any of those things either

I got so angry once because my grandmother threw shade at my sister-in-law for spending so much on a wedding dress. Bc, you see, apparently HER grandmother made her dress for the cost of the materials.

And I was like. You realize that’s not a snub towards my sister in law, right? You realized you just insulted yourself. I’m sure my sister in law would have loved it if a grandmother had the skill and generosity to make a beautiful wedding dress for the cost of the materials. But you don’t seem to have those skills and considering YOU are the grandmother…

Just fun to notice that, apparently, dads did a shit job of teaching their millennial sons how to fix a house. Which I’m sure their fathers would be grumpy to hear. But it’s the millennials fault they don’t know. It’s my sister in laws fault for paying so much.

There has been some generational shifts but they sure as hell didn’t start with the millennials.

The “pull yourself up by your own bootstraps” crowd assumed that also applied to all the skills they themselves were taught by others

This now extends to children not learning basic typing skills and computer knowledge and web safety from parents who just assumed schools would teach them or they’d “figure it out” on their own.

Ok, where do you put your keys when you get home?

On the key hook

In the bowl

On the table

I leave them in the car

In my chair

I don’t know man, the fridge?

In my shoes

The realization that y’all are putting them in the same place just hit me like a train & I need to think about some things

I keep them hooked to my belt loop
