That. Right there. A pivotal moment for Rose (upon second viewing), re-contextualizing how she’s been treating those around her exactly like the other Diamonds treated her. She had fled from it, but she’d internalized her role. Loving but condescending and hurtful all the same. She had known no other way, until someone, Greg, finally treated her as an equal.

you know, its revelations like these that make you really understand just how much greg impacted stevens life. Like, what greg said to rose is essentially how steven befriended so many of his former enemies
