does anyone else feel like steven’s whole longstanding issue of having to deal with the horrible reprocussions of his mother’s actions is hitting a little too close to the universal feeling of younger generations getting saddled with a shit-ton of really complex and damaging systems/problems by the generation(s) before us while simultaneously being held responsible for the fact that they exist

what about a name that could be shortened to BQ like a two syllable word that starts with B and the second syllable starts with Q

maybe! im nervous because i know ill have to back in the closet due to the current environment around trans people & the workforce. i figure it might be easier to just like, work my feminine wiles or whatever. learn how to put on makeup. start wearing heels. use misogynistic appeal in my favor until i can be at the point where i can just chill

its weird bc my relationship with womanhood is very…convoluted, as a nonbinary person. its scary and a lot of my issues with presentation in that way stem from trauma, but it still is alluring if that makes any sense? its really fucking weird and makes my head spin but if i have to wear a dress to be taken seriously (even if is only slightly more than me being authentic w/ myself), i need to do it

What about Banquo? hes one of the guys from macbeth so if anyone asks you can just say its shakspearean

imagine someone without allergies injecting themselves with an epipen and saying “I find that this did not help me therefor epipens are not helpful to people with allergies”

this is basically the argument neurotypicals are making when they say fidgets don’t actually help neurodivergent people or people with mental illness bc theyre “distracting” or “don’t relieve stress” or whatever they’re argument may be.

Person with 20/20 vision: *puts on my glasses* wHoA! How do you even SEEEEE with these?!?!?!”

Me: I’m…nearsighted?

Them: yeah but if I already have good vision shouldn’t these just make me see even better?

Me: …

Me: that’s not how this works

Me: that’s not how any of this works

Thing to help disabled people: *exists*

Ableists: Um YeA bUt It DoEsN’t HeLp ME!!1111!1!1!!!!!1!1

this is why it irks me when people make fun of infomercial products like the snuggy or that thing that helps you put on socks which were clearly designed with disabled people in mind

Hm a lot of you don’t seem to know the difference between a “power move” and just being mean for no reason

Stuff like “looking someone in the eye and not holding the elevator door” is not a power move please stay home

People online: *describes feeling powerful by inconveniencing or upsetting others who’ve done nothing to them*

Weird how that’s the textbook definition of being your fifth grade bully
