Biden has over 70 million votes, which is the most of any Presidential candidate in history. He’s leading Trump by 4 million votes.
He came very close to flipping Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina.
The take is that 1) the electoral college is fucked up and 2) white supremacy and hate are extremely strong motivators for this country’s right wing, not “Biden is pathetic,” you fucking dimwit

The ones who like Trump because he hurts people they think he should be hurting. The ones who want to overturn things like marriage equality. They were never going to vote for Biden - or any Democratic candidate.

I know things are still unsure, right now, but I think this is worth taking heart from.
Lets also not discount the fact that there is an active propaganda arm that is LYING to your parents and other seniors. Q Anon is deliberately designed to trick people into thinking it’s real and that it is their religious, moral and patriotic duty to ensure that the corrupt pedophiles running the new world order don’t succed.
The left is very good at ignoring how good the right is at duping people into voting for them. Fox News is so dangerous because it’s a VERY effective propaganda machine. It preys on the fears and worries of the elderly and drags their worldview to the right. Far-Right youtubers are scarily good at bilking the algorithm to get more eyeballs on their garbage - which is framed very intelligently and seems non-biased, but is stem to stern some HORRIFIC sexist, racist, homophobic propaganda. This is why PragerU is so dangerous.
There are lots of people who have parents and friends that they would say “they used to be kinda liberal, and really discerning, I don’t know what happened…”
What happened is that social media and the far right radicalized them
Fighting uphill against THAT is hard. Fighting uphill against that AND voter suppression AND a pandemic is… astronomical. Biden did about as good as could be expected.
