the whole thing about the ut nonbinary argument that tickles me so much is when ppl are like “frisk/chara can’t be nonbinary bc they’re designed to be ambiguous so the player can project onto them” and i’m like YES you are CORRECT but you seem to be forgetting the whole PLOT TWIST at the end where it’s revealed they’re not actually the player but their own characters???
like yeah these characters are specifically designed to trick you into thinking you’re them so toby can sucker punch you when he reveals that you’re NOT them and that’s the whole reason why he’s a great writer and why frisk & chara are nonbinary.
i get that’s a bit difficult to understand because you have to play through the entirety of undertale to get to the plot twist. with deltarune & kris, tho, i’m like. did some of y’all blackout through the first five minutes of the game or
your excuses to be transphobic are getting stupider and stupider. if any of you honestly believe some random post about a DELETED tweet from toby fox (golly, i wonder why something like that would be deleted! HMMM) misgendering frisk somehow debunks what the actual game presents, you don’t even need to tattoo transphobe on your forehead for people to recognize your transphobic, sorry ass for what it is. your transphobia is too transparent and just say you WANT to misgender these characters who canonically use they/them pronouns and nothing else, instead. it’s way easier.
just got notified that apparently toby literally had his whole ass book reprinted in order to fix the pronouns of napstablook & monsterkid bc they were misgendered in the previous version. y’all if that ain’t telling that the pronouns aren’t up for assumption???
