You gotta understand contextually what he’s saying. Ninjas aren’t and will never have been Naruto. They have always been Assassin’s Creed. Ninjitsu is literally the art of excelling at murder and getting away with it. This is an honorable move. He’s not saying no one should be a cool ninja doing flips because that’s not what ninjas do. He’s saying the world doesn’t need more master murderers and continuing to cultivate the art will only spread more death instead of peace.
