Did You Know: According to Mysterious Akavir, while Akavir means “Dragon Land”, Atmora means “Elder Wood”, and Tamriel means “Dawn’s Beauty”, the meaning of “Yokuda” has been kept a secret?
It probably has something to do with the Elder Scrolls, being irrefutable records of history, claim that Aldmeris never existed in the first place. You can read about that in the Nu-Mantia Intercept, which was a teaser on the official forums for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
they what
The Elder Scrolls say Aldmeris doesn’t exist. It’s not a thing. It’s imaginary. It’s nonexistent. It is fictional within the setting. If you believe in Aldmeris I have a bridge to sell you, specifically one in Aldmeris as the bridge also would not be real. It is a make-believe land for the elves. It is the mythic homeland of the elves, with emphasis on the “myth” part. It is a fabrication. It’s something they fancied up, but not something you can fancy going to.
Aldmeris is as real to the people of Tamriel as the people of Tamriel are to us.
Its relationship to reality is on the rocks, unlike Aldmeris which is not on any rocks at all because it doesn’t exist.
people on either side of any argument in all situations are wrong, if you have an opinion you are incorrect without exception, unless your opinion is correct in which case you’re right. Agree? Disagree? I couldn’t care less
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
