Know what’d be cool? Everyone having a 4 hour workday, and getting paid a living wage for those 4 hours. Whether that’s done by min wage laws, UBI, or both. Businesses can still operate at the hours they want by having multiple shifts. You want to be open 12 hours a day? Staff three shifts. You want to be open 24/7? Staff 6 shifts. Know what this does? Creates jobs and improves quality of life for all involved.
my first thought on this would be that commuting for just a four hour shift would be a bitch, but of course the answer to that is having affordable housing near where people need to work, and/or remote work options for the jobs that can support them.
Thanks I hate it: sarcastic disdain, you don’t enjoy this at all that’s insufferable, I love it: prankster solidarity. A compliment for mischief. You gotta try this dude, it sucks: solidarity through communal self-flagellation It’s terrible, watch it immediately: Your classic so-bad-it’s-good media
In Mario Party games, the outcome of every die roll is completely independent of the actual timing with which you hit the block. Note how Mario gets the same 5 no matter when he hits the block. The die rolls are decided at the beginning of the turn and all interaction the player has is merely an illusion.
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
