republicans are the ones who were passing the voter registration laws that made it more difficult for minorities to vote
republicans were the ones who were revoking visas and claiming there was 3 million counts of voter fraud
republicans were the ones who were colluding with russia
republicans are the ones who seem to benefit from voting machine “glitches”
im not saying the dems arent sketchy AF but theyre significantly better than the republicans and voting independant in the current climate is only going to keep the republicans in office.
I’m not claiming the republicans are good, I’m asking you to explain to me how the democrats are better. Pointing out the flaws of the republican party isn’t helping with that.
I’m not going to have the Democrat version of Trump in office just because “fuck the republicans”

The main problem is we are a stupid 2 party system and we are only ever given two choices that have a chance at it, and there is too good of a chance that you will never actually like either one. So it’s either you choose someone you think is slightly less horrible or you don’t vote and leave it to everyone else. We are kind of trapped as regular citizens and there isn’t much that we can do about it on an individual level and it is frustrating. It also doesn’t help when a party is corrupt and rigs elections so certain candidates get nominations. Doesn’t matter if they are better or not.
I think this is more the state of our entire political system. Just watch the South Park episodes about choosing between a turd sandwich and a giant douche. This thing has been around for a long time.
people have repeatedly referenced that episode but its more like that if the turd sandwich was dousing the school in gasoline and lighting it on fire while the giant douche was just throwing cherry bombs into the toilets. neither are ideal but one is clearly worse than the other
I think the one thing with that is it depends on who you ask which one is worse. Everyone has their own opinions on what someone does as horrible. I have also seen people argue that if the current president was more civil that a lot of people wouldn’t freak out as much. Their argument is that a lot of other presidents have also done horrible things but get praised because they are more civil. I personally feel that the current president is worse than the others, but I know that some other people won’t agree.
“Who is worse” can be a little harder to determine when everyone has their own definition of what is bad. And it gets even harder when you factor in that most media outlets are biased and they like to portray stories in certain ways, which can make it harder to trust them.
my verison of worse is the one who has many campaign team members charged with colluding with russia. the one putting children in cages and revoking peoples visas. the one who held the government hostage for an ineffective wall. teh one who made enemies with our closest allies. the one who refused to denounce literal nazis. The one who is attempting to turn america into a dictatorship. thats who i consider the worst.
