A lot of white parents abuse and neglect and ignore their babies because of new age “independent” parenting, were babies meant to be born independent they’d have been like deer and walked shortly after being born. Stop being cold to your baby, that child should be a peace of your heart

I knowwww???? This is also something I feel with like western parents completely being all “well you’re 18 now leave the house” who the hell does that to their kids????

There’s also so much evidence that a strong secure attachment early on creates more confident and independent kids. Like studies done. That prove this. That support attachment parenting (or like. Normal parenting literally anywhere else.) I’ve seen it with my own daughter who everyone told me I would spoil during her first year because I never let her cry and carried her all the time and nursed her to sleep. Amazing how now at 3 people comment on how self assured she is. Wonder if it has something to do with providing love and security during her first couple years 🤔🤔🤔
