There’s not a single criticism of Monsters Vs Aliens that would interest me- you think I don’t KNOW that it’s bad to look at and makes 0 sense? That too many of the jokes are driven by outdated pop culture references?
This is a movie where a woman learns to love herself and realize her own potential, and where a gay cockroach man voiced by hugh laurie has to beat dance dance revolution to blow up a spaceship. These scenes occur within 5 minutes of each other; this movie invented cinema.
Not just a fashion statement though! Lots of horseback riders put leg boots on their horses for protection against brush, to support ligaments, etc.! It’s functional fashion :D
Here is just a BRIEF example of a few kinds of boots you may base hooves fantasy race foot/legwear on! What they look like is gonna depend on the purpose. A shopkeeper on his feet all day may wear those thick, pillowy leg wraps to prevent swelling or “stocking up,” an adventurer may choose the bottom two styles to support her ligaments and protect her legs from harsh brush and rough terrain!
