I have to focus on one specific thing here just for how utterly hillarious it is in terms of the shows overall plot which is that for years…YEARS…I actually thought Zim was basically a child soldier for the Tallest and that was why he enrolled at a school when he got to earth but apparently according to this post and some others Zim is actually many many many years older than the human children he’s hiding amongst he’s just tiny and weirdly proportioned so he looks like an earth child so that means that not only is Zim an advanced alien soldier who gets routinely beaten by a twelve year old like Dib he’s actually a full grown adult from an advanced alien society that has been foiled in every scheme he hatched by a child
Invader Zim is apparently thousands of years old and is from a race that has mastered sentient robots, super fast deep space travel and all manner of alien super science and yet a characer who is basically a twelve year old version of Fox Mulder has stopped every single plan he’s ever hatched
