I am so jealous of the people who get to see Steven Universe for the first time by binge watching all the seasons. To see the story the way it was meant to be seen, with no months-long hiatuses messing up the pacing, or fandom drama or discourse… what an amazing way to enjoy the show.
an abrupt realization: being that humans are a well documented but now extinct, somewhat ‘mythical’ species (”I wish humans were real”) in the world of splatoon………. there’s definitely an inkling/octoling equivalent to human monsterfuckers, i.e. inklings and octolings that love that Weird Mammalian Xenophilia Shit and would love to bone a human
