ooo i get to be a history person! SO, the greeks built the horse and hid soldiers in it. we all know that part. The part that often gets forgotten is that it wasnt a gift to the trojans. It was a gift to athena. They feigned surrender and claimed the horse was an offering to athena so that she can forgive them for losing the war. They told the trojans that the horse was for hte gods and that they shouldnt move it. The trojans stole it as a trophy, which was part of the greeks plans. Then you know what happened next.
