I feel like the tragedy of A Good Cartoon is that, as conservative cartoonists reach this zenith where they just repeat leftist opinions verbatim and expect the reader to find them inherently absurd, a clever misreading of the cartoonist’s intent becomes superfluous. This already looks like a glowing Maxine Waters campaign ad. The phrase “A Good Cartoon” is no longer earned by wryly twisting the artist’s cheap metaphors back on them, it now is just handed over by the artist accidentally on a silver platter. What could you possibly add that the image doesn’t already say?
