Isn’t there a word about being compelled to do something against your will? Call me silly but I was under the impression that this is, you know, generally a bad thing.
I’m sorry that “saying you should care about people and not be a selfish asshole” is such an oppressive and awful thing to hear. Life must be a real struggle for you, having been attacked by things like Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street as a child.
Honestly, “abolish ICE” is the conservative position. “Try them all for crimes against humanity” is the rational centrist position. Mob justice is the modestly progressive position by now.
