A quick sneak peek of Sidon and Mipha’s baby brother. I’d like for ya’ll to meet young Ralis the 4th! Named after the great king of long past, Ralis is the youngest of the royal Zora family. Ralis is outgoing and very friendly but a bit of a scamp: sometimes he forgets his manners and is unintentionally rude. But he’d never hurt a fly and is a sensitive fella and extremely gullible; basically a puppy but as a fish monster. He loves his family but is closest to Sidon and Mipha: if he were ever upset or hurt, he’d most often run to them instead of his parents.
His name is derived from the character Ralis in Twilight Princess. I considered rehashing the character for this role but I figured it’d be more fun if the kid was simply named after him but the design was made from scratch.
I had a difficult time deciding on his markings and colors; originally he was gonna be blue like his father but I decided to keep with the red colors of Sidon and Mipha. He was also gonna have electric blue stripes but I ultimately decided it made him too “busy” in overall look and went with broader, darker markings. As for his overall markings go, he’s based off of the orca (the killer whale). I think he came out pretty cute!
Silly AU in which in “Megadoomer” Zim receives the correct package (bunch of defective SIRs), then thinks he’s been given his own army of slaves and is very proud of it. To Zim’s delight they start demolishing the whole city, until only 5 of the robots are left that didn’t blow up themselves in the process. Zim wants them to continue destroying the city, but Gir insists that they should watch TV while eating junk with him instead, and they do exactly that, loosing interest in what their task was completely. Since then Zim has 5 more Girs to take care of, but unlike Tenn he has a talent for it. They all get their own dogsuits and are named by Gir. Now Zim’s base is a complete madhouse and even Dib is too terrified to break in.
I can also imagine Gir being somehow the most intelligent and experienced one in the group, and the only one who other SIRs really listen to. It annoys Zim greatly.
