I’m sorry but I’m still not over the fact that Kingpin KILLED PETER PARKER then HOSTED A MEMORIAL DINNER and invited Peter’s WIDOW
And then had the servers dress up as her DEAD HUSBAND
That’s what you DO though. I’m a bad guy, people don’t know it, but spider man does. I kill spider man cause he’s in the way. Come to find out he didn’t even tell his family/loved ones who he was. So me, a villain, set up my enemies family with a bitchin party to celebrate him as a hero while underhandedly rubbing it in my enemies cold dead face that I was the one who did it, an no one will ever know.
bold of you to assume MJ didnt know and only played along because she was planning on taking him down herself
We players discover that the map we’ve been keeping was off. The reason:
yourplayersaidwhat:
GM: You go east a fair ways and–
Paladin Player: You mean west?
Bard Player: Is it reversed to you and that’s why you keep getting it wrong?
GM: No. I keep thinking I might get it wrong and so I just reverse it.

So, the players are stuck on an island of questionable existence and the antagonist is forcing them to go through several trials and a tournament in order to find out who is the most worthy of a grand prize. The antagonist main goal is to essentially steal someone’s sole to secure their spot in reality because they are just a projection of someone using a really powerful illusory Relic. The song needs to be strong or else the subject won’t survive the process long enough for the ritual to take hold, hence the tournament. The Bard met her father on this island and he had been stranded there since before she was born. She was actually conceived the night before he set sail. The Bard was declared the winner and the antagonist tried to use the ritual on her so The Bard had to roll to dodge. Unfortunately for her and fortunately for the narrative, she rolled in Nat 1 so I took a hard move. I decided that killing her wouldn’t be nearly as dramatic as having someone push her out of the way and take the blast. Three guesses as to who she saw die right in front of her only hours after meeting him.
