Above that you have Gigaflare: A stronger version of Mega flare. Mostly used by stronger versions of Bahamut, and inter-dimensional demons and secret bosses.
Above that you have Teraflare: this move is exclusive to the abso-fucking-lute most powerful versions of Bahamut. Like, you need to be the strongest motherfucker in the final fantasy multiverse to use this. This is universe erasing shit here
Above that you have Zettaflare: It is one quadrillion times (yes this is canon) more powerful then Megaflare, and it is a move that only Donald Duck has been able to do in all of Square Enix history.”
I’d also like to point out that Donald has used Flare several times before, its one of his most common magic moves when doing a combo with Sora, Albiet he uses them with a goofy, cartoonish firework effect.
I should mention that Donald gets knocked out/dies after this, either from the strain of using the spell or from the heartless that swarm right after, but even if it’s cast from hitpoints, Donald literally just busted out the most powerful magic move in Square history.
The only other character in Square enix games who used Zettaflare was the third form of Airy in Bravely Default, who at that point had a world eating eldritch abomination powering her. Donald didn’t have any of that backing him up, he literally cast Zettaflare on his own.
Donald fucking duck is canonically the most powerful red mage in square enix history PERIOD.
Also here’s a bonus for ya; right before setting it off Goofy yelled “DONALD, DON’T!” implying that either he’s been apprised of how dangerous zettaflare is for donald to use, OR DONALD HAS DONE IT BEFORE.

Okay so let’s do a small recap from the moment I started to comprehend, or should I say, recomprehend everything. Considering I’m getting to the last stretch I will say SPOILER ALERT because I’ve got a LOT to say.
Alright, getting that out of the way, let’s continue, shall we?
Honestly I’ve got to say, the moment I got to [S] GAME OVER I was so filled with information I was considering making recaps of my recap. But let’s just say I didn’t (even though I kinda did) and skip to the flash animation (which by now, have turned into YouTube videos)
I’ve got to say, watching all of this go down again, it wasn’t any less painful. I’m still not fully sure of Araneas purpose to take control over the sesión other than her thinking it would set things straight? I still don’t get why she needed to kill Jake nor Terezi, Jane was comprehensible to a point seeing as she was in the way of her completing her objective. Also, was she controlling Gamzee? Was that moment of pleading towards Terezi to stop hurting him a moment of clarity? Or was he just playing some sick game with her? I’m still not quite clear on that either. Karkat dying is still painful and probably the worst thing to witness, Kanaya being second because she’s my favorite.
Let’s move on to John saving the world.
I’ve got to say, these password things were great, I felt like a part of the story once again instead of just being strapped onto a rollercoaster and forced to take the ride of hell without being able to say or do much. Also, I know 4th wall breaks are common in this web comic but just, referencing the Homestuck logo as the actual “canon break” is just.. genius. John essentially “breaks canon” to screw with the timeline on specific moments (hence the Terezi passwords) and basically fixing them, or well, fixing as much as he can. Also, can anyone tell me what the purpose of lemonsnout is? I still can’t remember.
I’ve decided to end my rant with this colorful little thing:
As I stared dumbfounded at these clay animations and tried to make sense of what was going on, I suddenly got the sense that this was something that would later be explained to me, obviously not in detail, that’s not the homestuck way of things, but I would have to deduce from some smidgen of information that would be given to me and make me recall this ridiculous moment. For now, all that I managed to piece together was that because John had the ability to zap himself to Caliborns location, he will end up doing the same once again, this time accompanied by his fellow heroes, and they will be ultimately defeated. Dirk will get the worst part of the beating which will, for some reason (feelings? camaraderie?), anger Jake and he will basically boost Dirk back to life, gaining the respect from Caliborn (ttaking his last name “English” because of this event) and Dirk will release his heart powers over Caliborn, accidentally on half a piece of Gamzee and Arquius, trapping them in the “empty” juju Caliborn mentioned chapters back, which turned out to be Lil cal (then an empty vessel, now filled with the soul of Lord English), where at one point it is revealed that was the cause of Lord Jack going insane and harboring Lord English’s powers through the puppets eyes. Did I mention the beta kids got trapped in homestuck (the white juju thing) at one point? What was up with that situation? Are they permanently stuck in homestuck? Cursed to relive the whole comic over and over again? Tune in next time, when I keep going over the same old shit until I slowly descend into the madness that is Homestuck.
the things involving the masterpiece are unclear but in regards to aranea, her plan was to definitively create an offshoot timeline in which lord english cannot exist and then use her healing light powers to force that timeline to be the alpha. Unlocking jakes potential early increases the chances of him being able to defeat lord english during the masterpiece without being as destructive because he would have much better control. Killing him was an accident because she was aiming for jane. Making gamzee kill terezi was because terezi is the one who poses the biggest threat with her seer mindpowers and aranea figured that terezi would probably figure a way to do exactly what happened post game over with the passwords. Aranea was trying to kill terezi before that could happen. Thats my biggest guess.
