Skip everything else and go with Ahmed’s Miles Morales: Spider Man. It’s a good jumping on point and really Bendis basically had no idea what to do with Miles after creating him, so a lot (if not all) of Bendis’s contributions are skippable.
For team interactions go with Zub’s Champions. It is fun and even has a cool DnD AU for an arc.
