this short that aired on Cartoon Network is notoriously creepy and sad and lacking much in the way of comedy
But
If you think it sucks to share a “really funny” youtube video with a friend who sits there totally unamused, I want you to know that the guy who slaved over creating this cartoon, a former Ren and Stimpy animator, said in an old interview (which I can’t find anymore so I’m sorry you have to take my word on this) that he straight up “forgot” to put jokes in it through all his long sleepless hours working on just the animation direction of what he had hoped would be his big break in the industry and then he showed his creation to a private screening of network guys who sat through it stone-faced while he sat alongside them silently dying inside.
This is some bugshit insanity, right here.
To further add to the insanity Glen Kennedy (the same Kennedy of the “Kennedy Kick Dance”Pup Named Scooby Doo fame) helped out with the animation, which is why some movements are jerky and all over the place.
I think it’s about time I uploaded this. Super happy with the sketch, lining went great, few bits I don’t like about the anatomy but too lazy to change since it would mean redrawing a lot, and thne I get super stuck on the shading and especially highlights. but eh I guess it’s good enough
remember when 1d fans signed contracts w 1d’s team saying if they leaked mitam audios from the listening parties they would get sued and one person actually did record the audios/leak them and tweeted “sue me” like that was honestly the most iconic moment in fandom history across the board
