No harm to any religion. It’s just a lamp ads by an Australian company. However, it’s funny!
I’m going to cry 😂😂
Ahaha, the reason why Mohammad is specifically mentioned as not being able to be there is because in Islam, portrayals and portraits of Mohammad are forbidden. But they didn’t want to be seen as either hand waving him as at the table but not shown or as explicitly omitted.
Very smart move there advertising script writers.
I like the alien and atheist. Really shows how they’re not making fun of anything, just that beliefs shouldn’t cause strife. Kinda like what pretty much every religion says in their designated book.
this problem isn’t that men “misread” signals (and even verbal statements), it’s that men are unwilling to accept what’s being communicated, because it’d mean they won’t get what they want–and they value getting what they want more than they value their partner’s comfort, safety, and desires. this is a matter of will and values masquerading as a matter of knowledge and communication. men’s “confusion” is their justification for continuing with what they want to do (and society will accept it too!), so there’s always a motivation to be “confused.” that’s the problem.
Fun fact: you’d think you could easily type capital à, è, é, ì, ò, ù on an Italian keyboard. Wrong. There’s no way you can do that, unless you have a Macbook. Italians are just forced to type A’, E’, I’, O’, U’ instead. But you know what we CAN type? Ç and ç. That’s right, a letter we don’t even have in our alphabet.
actually Ç is very useful because we have that letter in the albanian alphabet. so don’t assume keyboards are only for certain languages.
well the italian keyboard was in fact designed for the italian language, my guy
I have an Italian keyboard on my Chromebook, which I’m using right now, and I can type à è é ì ò ù as well as ç just fine.
I was talking about typing those… but CAPITAL
All I can think of is that post talking about how the reading comprehension on this site is piss poor, and someone responds with “how dare you say we piss on the poor”
i refuse to believe this because i have a portuguese keyboard which you’d assume to be similar (as it also has ç) and i can type capital accented letters just fine
ÀÁÈÉÌÍÒÓ
you just hold shift when pressing the accent key and the letter key for something like À and you don’t hold shift when pressing the accent key and hold shift when pressing the letter for Á
@aeritus back me up here can you do capital accented letters
The reason why they can’t is because their keyboard looks like this:
whereas your keyboard should look like this:
As you can see, you have a dedicated key for both ´ `, whereas Italians have keys with the vowels already with the accents, which they cannot capitalize.
Compare it to other romance language keyboards.
Spain:
Hispanic America:
Brazil:
and France which doesn’t even use QWERTY
When it comes to switching between languages, the Spanish and Portuguese ones are superior.
Hope players can now make Brain Ghosts of other players (especially those they pay attention to, or the Heart player). Brain ghosts look like regular ghosts, except they aren’t stuck in bubbles. Look at the chaos this HopeStuck session caused.
Meanwhile, players with a skill in Alchemy (or who just really fucking like robots) have a chance of making a robo-doppelganger of themselves or their best friend or, you know, the Heart player. Especially useful: Now we all know where all those robo-time players were coming from. Somebody in a doomed timeline lacked a time player and just fucking built one so that they could F1X TH1S. Here you see KR, the dream player, being kick ass at Alchemy.
I fucked with the way relationships work a bit (hopefully I didn’t break anything) because when the session crashed the first time a player tried to date a robot I realized that I had a unique opportunity to NOT automatically assume robots have less rights than people. This guy gets it.
hey did anyone hear the news that scientists have actually been able to figure out the most common key that old pirate shanties were sang in
imo it’s really interesting? like, they found and analysed lots and lots of sheet music that they suspect was inspired by all these old shanties, since all the music was written by people who are believed to have been former sailors or even former pirates. and the neat part is that statistically speaking almost 90% of them are written in the same key. i mean, obviously it’s not confirmed 100%, but it looks like almost all pirate shanties were sang in a high C
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
