I’d really love to know what the hell Vader was thinking during that pregnant pause after he asks Luke to join him in Empire because Luke just kind of stares at him, says nothing, and then just… falls? Leaving Vader there looking like a total idiot but also wondering what the hell does Luke even think he’s doing?! Only Clone Wars Anakin could have been that extra, all “I’d rather fall into an unfathomable abyss than finish this conversation with you” is such a Skywalker move, so the only thing I imagine Vader really thinking is “Well, he definitely gets that from me.”
Vader: “JOIN ME”
Luke: *falls backward into the abyss*
Vader: … honestly I don’t know what else I expected
Dragon Mother: YOU KILLED MY BABY.. YOU’RE GOING TO MAKE ME A NEW ONE.
Ranger: …Sure! I’m down!
Paladin: WH- NO! I have SO many objections!
astronema-princess-of-all-evil:
Historical footage of the last T-Rex serving his country in WWl.
But isn’t that a Jeep? And the T-Rex is holding a…Browning M2? Which wasn’t used until 1933…
So I think this footage is actually of WW2.
I’m living for this historical accuracy
Many people think it’s historically inaccurate because the Tyrannosaur doesn’t have feathers, but a buzz cut is pretty standard for military personnel.
@poshtearex we need an authority on this
Totally accurate except that that Rex is a bit bigger so it’s actually a female Rex so she may have been pretending to be a male so she could fight. What an icon she is.
This remarkable line of questioning from Congresswoman Suzan DelBene demonstrates just a few of the ways that the GOP tax plan treats corporations better than people.
Under the Republican plan, corporations are still allowed to deduct state and local taxes. Workers are not. Corporations are still allowed to deduct business expenses. Teachers are not.
Corporations are still allowed to deduct more than $10,000 in property taxes. Homeowners are not. Corporations are still allowed to deduct moving expenses. Families are not.And this is on top of a $1.5 trillion corporate tax cut.
Let’s be clear, this is not a “middle-class tax cut.” Working families get the crumbs and the super-wealthy get everything else.
how can you not be speechless in the face of that kind of cartoon villainy though, like, he doesn’t even look fucking guilty about it or realize that he should be
