(I’m not posting this less to correct the timeline portrayed in Bohemian Rhapsody, which I mostly really enjoyed, than simply to share a beautiful story that shines light on who Freddie actually was, up to the very end.)
One day, you lose your wallet, and it is found by a mob boss, who figures out that you aren’t in such a good place financially, and takes pity on you. So they start anonymously sending cash, clothes, and furniture to you in the mail, eventually, the mob boss sends you a letter to stating that they bought you a house, and it lists an adress. What do you do?
In this economy? Thank them politely, pledge your loyalty, and join the mob.

you are not an anime character. your actions impact others and do not only exist in theory. nobody is required to stick around for your tragic backstory or to learn the reasons behind your actions. if you treat people like garbage, they are allowed to think of you as a jerk and nothing more. nobody is obligated to analyze you or think twice when you hurt them. similarly, you are not required to stick around to listen to other people’s reasons for treating you like trash. you can call them a jerk, cut them out of your life, and call it a day.
kinda weird that undyne is willing to tackle a complete stranger on the sole basis of “a kid mentioned her name once” but who am I to argue with results
reasons that i was going 9 mph over the speed limit today: the lumberjack in the big red chevy truck behind me on this double-lined road was in a hurry and also was using a slightly more powerful bluetooth radio to play his music, but he was using the same frequency that i use, and he was just playing Party In The Usa onrepeat, so every time he caught up to me my music started fading out and “i pUT MY HANDS UP THEY’RE PLAYIN MY SONG” started blaring from my speakers and i was justly running for my fucking life

it shows us that Pokemon does look different in “real” life compared to how media portrays them. Because look at those balloons on the back. Look at the Jigglypuff one compared to the “real” Jigglypuff here.
It’s interesting because even in our society, we draw certain animals differently and more simplified, and “cuter” than the real ones in a lot of cases.
I just really appreciate this -realistic- approach of Pokemon because it show how detailed the world idea is in that universe. By showing this bit it kinda shown how developed their world is in comparison to ours!
I know we make fun of american politics a lot but I thought y’all should know that this Italian leader of a Conservative party is doing this thing where she appeals to weebs by reading manga and having people draw her as an anime character

i feel like it’s important to note that people aren’t actually drawing her as an anime character, that’s an existing character from love live sunshine who is also known for being a raging lesbian and she mistook screenshots from the franchise’s upcoming movie (set in italy) for art of her and it’s the funniest goddamn thing i’ve seen all year
