I forever treasure the time someone on tumblr got mad at me over politics and disparaged me by saying “you’re only famous for that piss fetish comic” and I had no idea what they were talking about until it became clear that they thought I was KC Green, they thought that this was the only thing KC Green was ever known for, and they thought that this comic indicated KC Green having a real piss kink.

I have one of those Doctor Who books that gives extra info on stuff and someone made up the application he sent to get hired and you really have to find it and see it because it’s pure gold. He put his age as like 1,200 and crossed it out and put 50 or something then wrote “Is that too high?” and crossed that out too and just wrote 29

This is a delight and everything I love about Doctor Who.
Make no mistake. Trans people, especially trans women, are the canary in the coal mine. If the United States government manages to pass legislation making it essentially illegal to be trans again, mark my words it WILL continue on up to sending us right back into McCarthyism and the “kill or imprison anything you disagree with or dislike” policies of the 1950s (not that that hasn’t already been happening under the radar, but it’s going to be More).
There really are people out there who are acting like suggesting genetic testing to “confirm the identity” of a group of people isn’t a wildly dangerous thing for a government to start doing. This is not a door that should be opened.
just opened a random fic and encountered the mysterious noun phrase ‘the blacket’ (rhymes with jacket?) four times with increasing bewilderment about what it was and what was its function in an airport before i figured out it was a neologism for ‘a dude with black hair,’ backformed from the existing term brunet.
i think this is the most egregious instance of epithet abuse i’ve seen in a while.
I love that they’ve take them time to make the male/female spelling distinction that mostly only pedants care about and yet they’ve still used this word
as an absolute pedant about this one stupid fucking thing, I appreciate that even if they mangled a perfectly good word to express “black haired guy” in about half the letters at least they did it correctly
