One time I woke up to the sound of someone breaking in through our living room window, which my half-asleep brain translated into "someone has the fucking tv on too loud." My dumb ass wakes up, crawls over my sleeping husband to get out of our bed, pokes my head in the living room and goes, "you mind keeping it down? i've got work in the morning."
