First is real, second is photoshopped, people are spreading the second image around as a way to demonize Emma Gonzalez and the March For Our Lives movement. It’s completely fabricated and being used as propaganda by the NRA. Please spread the word ❤️❤️❤️.

Love how they photoshopped her skin and eyes to make her look ashier and with sunken eyes. These folk are horrible

“One of my favourite Steve Jobs stories was the time the engineers working on the iPod brought their finished prototype to him in his office. He said it was too big, they needed to make it smaller. They said it was as small as they could make it, it couldn’t be made any smaller. So he took the prototype over to his aquarium and dropped it in. The iPod sank to the bottom, and as it did, tiny little bubbles came out. ‘See those bubbles,’ he asked. ‘They’re air inside the iPod. Make it smaller.’

“Another story about Steve Jobs was when they brought the prototype for the iPad 2 to his office. The engineers told him it was faster than the first iPad. He took it over to his aquarium and dropped it in. ‘Look how slowly it sank,’ he told them. ‘Make it faster.’

“One time a newly hired intern had been sent out to get Steve a sandwich. When she brought it to him, he looked at it. ‘I thought I ordered the beef on rye,’ he asked. She told him it was indeed beef on rye. He took it over to his fish tank and dropped it in. ‘Does that look like beef on rye?’

“He was always dropping things in that fish tank. We couldn’t stop him. We told him he had to stop, he wouldn’t listen. It was full of stuff that shouldn’t be in an aquarium.

“The fish had all died years ago. One had been crushed under an early generation iMac. The others were all poisoned. He didn’t care.

“It got to the point where there was no room for anything in the fish tank. When we emptied it after he died, we found a body in there. We never found out who it was.”

While we’re on the topic, I think it’s important for people to know that TERFs on this website are covering themselves in a new coat of paint to slide under your radar.

People aren’t reblogging from an OP who has “radfem” or “TERF” in their bio anymore, but have no problem reblogging from an OP who has “aphobe” or “exclusionist” in their bio. These people are often (though not always) TERFs, transmisogynistic, transphobic, exclusionary of nonbinaries, or just plain unsupportive of trans/NBs in general.

“Exclusionary” is literally the E in the TERF acronym. The entire aphobic movement is a page taken straight out of the TERF handbook. And I’m sick of seeing history repeat itself because no one takes these antagonistic movements seriously until they do serious harm on a wide scale.

(Do you think people really took TERFs seriously in the beginning? People didn’t do shit about it until enough trans women got it through everyone’s thick heads.)

I could go on-and-on about how excluding an entire section of the LGBTQIA+ has literally never been a good thing, and how exclusionary movements famously erase queer history, and how the community will literally fall apart if we start chopping people off. (That’s WHY communities are strong. We’re strongest TOGETHER.)

Don’t fucking tolerate any exclusionary rhetoric of ANY kind. And that means taking “Aces are fine, as long as they’re not cishet :/” as seriously as “Bi people are fine, as long as they’re not in het relationships :/” and “Trans women are fine, I just don’t think they’re real women :/”

Check your sources. Don’t spread posts with aphobic comments or which make fun of aro/ace people. If it seems fishy, just scroll by. It literally costs nothing.

Start boosting aro/ace voices. Listen to the concerns of aro/aces. Include us in queer commentary and discussions. Don’t just say we belong; act like it.
