its fanventure day at @homestuckartists so here’s Selvir shortly after she entered the medium taking out some imps with the help of @littleladylulub character, Kriger. Selvir alchemized her locket with a fiduspawn egg to create a focus for her chucklevoodoos which can let her control an imp while Kriger drops heavy things on them.
I was
doing some design work for an older woman. She was the absolute sweetest thing,
very nice and always receptive to any changes I had to make. But.
We
were making small talk while waiting for something to render, and it came up
that I have anosmia; I was born without a sense of smell.
Client: You can’t smell anything at all? Not even if somebody… Passed gas?
Me: Nope, not a thing.
Almost
immediately, I heard the smallest little toot. I didn’t mention anything. But
it happened every time we talked after that. For weeks.
I
didn’t have the heart to tell her my hearing works just fine.
