I’ve already reblogged this scene but the last comment is a masterclass in punctuation and vocal emphasis.

i mean, to be fair, holt is right.
The first choice you make doesnt matter so the 1/3 chance is not valid. The only choice that matters is if you switch or stay which is 50/50. because the first choice doesnt matter, the problem will only ever have a 50/50 chance of being right no matter what choice you make

you know, when i said i wanted the real world to be more like harry potter i just meant the teleportation and the butterbeer, not the entire plot of book 5 where the government refuses to do anything about a deadly threat so the teenagers have to rise up and fight back

You’re pro walk out? Aren’t you a teacher? You should know better than to allow such disruption in school. Education isn’t something to waste.

I’m pro anything to help my students odds at surviving. Education isn’t something to waste, and neither is life. I’m a teacher who just spent a week teaching students how to act in case of a a school shooter, showing students emergency first aid, examples for treating GSWs from various types of bullets, showing examples of bullet proof vests to my crying students, wondering what I can do for my students, thinking of every possible scenario to help them, praying that should anything happen my disability won’t stop me from saving my students.

I’m a teacher who’s sick of every option involving someone dying.

I can’t be openly pro walkout, but you can bet your ass I’m not going to stop my students for taking matters into their own hands when adults continue to fail them.

They’re not leaving to go to the fucking mall.

Education indeed is not something to be wasted. But never let your schooling interfere with your education, kids!

Good teachers know you can’t teach history about changing the world whilst discouraging your students from making it.

Education is not something to be wasted, but until our politicians understand that the lives of students and educators are not something to be wasted, either…

Civil rights movements, labor strikes, and protests are in the textbooks. This is just a practical lesson.
