Terezi has just been BEATEN HALF TO DEATH by her ABUSIVE KISMISIS, seen/smelled two of her BEST FRIENDS DIE IN FRONT OF HER, got STABBED THROUGH THE GUT, AND was denied ANY SORT OF CLOSURE AGAINST THE PERSON WHO BLACKMAILED HER INTO GETTING HER EYESIGHT BACK AND THE PERSON WHO GAVE HER EYESIGHT BACK

Jades ruby slippers are a reference to the ruby slippers of wizard of oz which could transport the wearer to wherever they wanted as long as they had it where they wanted clearly in their mind. What if the ruby slippers are what helped her, as a seer of mind, find out the right thoughts to make a proper retcon as well as aided her in the dream bubbles in finding (vriska)
