Christ…this made me reconsider what it means to be human. Being human isn’t being terrible and hateful with near nor remorse. It means being driven by compassion and love.
Quick serious note though– of all the alcohol your dog could ingest, grape-based wine is arguably the worst because even a small amount of grape can be fatal to a dog. (Scientists still aren’t 100% sure what part of the grape is toxic, as far as I know).
I knew someone whose dog almost died because she countersurfed a bowl of grapes while she wasn’t looking (this dog was 3 years old and had never done this, hence the grapes being out in the first place). Even though the dog was rushed to the vet and immediately was treated, she had severe damage to her kidneys and now has to be on a special diet.
So yeah, please no grape wine (or any alcohol because your dog isn’t aware of the danger and, therefore, should not be allowed a chance to drink just like you wouldn’t let a baby drink if they got ahold of some)
