One aspect of leftist politics that I’ve come to deeply resent is how people seem to completely ridicule and invalidate nonviolence. Not every leftist has the ability to engage in some sort of violent revolution, and also not everyone even wants to. Please stop sneering at the very idea of pacifism. I’m sure that I don’t only speak for myself when I say that as someone who has faced violence, my last wish is to somehow arrive at justice through perpetuating it.
