This comic was inspired by something my husband said and I had to draw it, and ended up spending all day doing that instead of working on the other projects I should be finishing. >3>;; Oh well.
Uh oh. It’s a Star War. I drew these for Patrons, mostly in livestreams, back around the time TFA came out. It seemed like an appropriate time to share them publicly…with some apologies. >_>
Seriously, it’s so good. The story has depth and mystery, the characters are lovable and memorable and the world feels like a real world.
The monsters of the Underground have their own culture that is informed uniquely by internet culture, but is still their own thing. The game contains different tones and balances them excellently. The meta-narrative is also very well done, where the gameplay, player, code and even people watching streams and let’s plays informing the game world and story.
And all of it just works together so well to create a great game.
Ah, my dude, you can’t talk about Undertale without talkin’ about the surprising genius that is the game’s soundtrack. Everything about it feels connected, like you could tell a surprisingly coherent narrative just by listening to the leit motifs contained within the music. The subtle nuances and not-so-subtle connections really make the soundtrack shine as a whole.
Undertale’s soundtrack is also amazing. And the way it connects to everything else is so good and often subtle. Like, there’re theories that are based on the leitmotifs of the soundtrack.
I’m sure everyone and their mom’s dog’s chewtoy has already pointed it out.
But I only first now noticed -
Applejack’s Mom had the Dead Anime Mom Side Pony Tail.
dammit now im just imagining AJ doing alchemy to try and bring her back but it results in her losing an foreleg and hindleg as well as making applebloom stuck in a large armour body
here’s a compilation of different people driving box trucks into a low bridge over and over
It’s worth knowing a few fun facts, courtesy of 11foot8.com:
They can’t raise the bridge because it’s a train trestle, and raising it would require closing and modifying miles of busy track.
They can’t lower the road because it’s directly over a sewer main.
They can’t ban trucks entirely because there are too many local deliveries.
That section of road has a speed limit of 25 mph, numerous signs alerting drivers to the 11'8" limit, and recently they added a sensor that activates the stoplight and a flashing “overheight warning” sign so that drivers have to stop and think really hard about going forward.
The clearance is actually nearly three inches more than 11'8", the maximum deviation from the signage allowed.
Trucks have been getting stuck or damaged since the 1960s.
The guy who runs the website (and owns the cameras) says he sees a lot more trucks pull up to the stoplight, look at the warnings, and turn off onto the side road, but about once a month, someone hits the bridge.
okay but the crash at 1:37 that’s just two cars and has nothing to do with the bridge. This is clearly just an area of chaotic energy
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
