I keep thinking about that damn shirt. This obviously doesn’t have a lot of time put into it but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yesterday I was at gamestop and a man in full Data cosplay walked up to the front counter and I did a double take so hard I nearly broke my neck. So, he walks up and the cashier just casually smiles and goes “How’s it going, Data? What can I do for you?” and Data goes, “I am doing quite well. I was just wondering when you guys would have Destiny 2 in stock.” This mans……literally did not smile or emote at all. He went all in. The cashier was totally non fazed. I, however, was completely shitting my pants cos ya’ll DO NOT understand how good this dude’s cosplay was. It really looked like fuckin data teleported into the middle of game stop in rural ohio to ask about motherfucking destiny 2.
The only time he broke character was when I was stealthily trying to stare at him and thinking about asking for a pic when he was walking out. This dude. Looked at me, completely expressionless. and WINKED at me. Someone collect ya mans he wildin lmfao
That wink was entirely in character though.
You met Data irl and I am so very very envious.

I want to know more!
fr anyone who didn’t know what happened: essentially someone found a backdoor to TNT’s admin page, where they could access a tool to grant people NC. at first people thought it was a random glitch, bc there was no rhyme or reason as to how it was being given out. however people quickly discovered that there was a human behind the madness as people who joked about getting specific amounts actually received what they asked for.
the chaos really began as people started trying to ask the hacker yes/no questions and having them answer by awarding different amounts of NC. TNT very quickly found themselves overwhelmed by the volume of users receiving literal thousands of dollars worth of NC, and began freezing people who mentioned it and who received it, as anyone who said anything was p much garunteed to get at least 100k-1.5bil NC from the hacker.
rumor stated that the hacker did all this because of an unawarded 50$ purchase of NC. it’s unclear if this is true as the hacker used a stolen account, and ostensibly vanished after they were frozen. additionally we currently have no idea if the back door is actually closed. the tool the hacker used could still be out there, and a similar event is possible if someone manages to grab a hold of it, but perhaps to a smaller, less verbose extent.
about 10 users received at least 1 billion NC, and dozens more received 1-420 million, with many other recieving smaller amounts. the total of NC awarded could quite possibly be in the high billions.
