reasons my generation is so depressed:

• sleep deprivation due to early school start times
• the economy
• oppression
• high tensions between different political/social/racial/etc groups
• technology/social media means constant updates on bad news
• politics, made worse by the aforementioned constant updates
• the state of the environment
• education as it is right now not preparing us sufficiently for the outside world
• pressure to grow up very quickly
• parenting/teaching/etc trends in the previous generation(s)
• competitiveness in schools, social media and other aspects of life
• the world in general that the last few generations have constructed for us

NOT reasons my generation is so depressed:

• we’re weak and lazy and we can’t get off our phones uwu

More reasons:

•Many of us can’t get the jobs we studied for because older generations see them as hobbies and not careers and won’t pay the right amount

•Therapy is expensive

•Having to work two jobs minimum just to scrape by

•Working with awful customers day in and day out with no hope of it getting better because who cares about treating the workers with any basic human decency?

•The rising threat of the nazi movement

•The rising threat of men who are awful to women for some sick pleasure

•The rising threat of a third world war

•Trump

•The Yellowstone supervolcano people like to remind us about
