This has happened to me several times, it sucks man.

if you befriend an artist just for art, they will know and they will spend the rest of their lives paranoid that all their friends are fake and just want art. It’s manipulative, low and will cause them a lifetime of anxiety and paranoia.

At one point during The Darkness, the player character is shown relaxing with their romantic interest. During this time, the player can watch the full 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird, with their love interest shifting and making small comments throughout. They can end this section at any time with the push of a button, but by providing this level of passive interaction, the player is able to become deeply immersed in the relationship being presented, as they observe and participate in a small, tender moment shared between two people.

yup! they compressed the movie a lot to get it to fit, but it looks surprisingly decent. there’s even an achievement (called “Romantic”) for watching the movie until your girlfriend falls asleep
